No, "THEY" are NOT!
They specifically say "ma mesquinerie" which is self-deriding and
implies that the comment is NOT to be taken at face value !
What's more. the person who wrote those line is also the person who was
in charge of the port at Nero's, so I'd say he has a right to claim that
his "baby" is better than someone else's.
Even if YOU don't agree, which is fine by me.
YOU were aggressive and insulting, HE was NOT!
whatever...
