Hi,
I'm about to get rid of my old laserprinter, as I need
to free some space.
It is a Lexmark 4039 12R plus, postscript L2 + 10Mbit/s
network connectivity and a second, 500 page feeder, the
toner cassette should be good for another >30000 pages.
Yes, it's an old office beast.
It's working, with the exception that it doesn't properly
pull in paper (similarly to certain HP models). I know
Lexmark had a kit to correct the issue (again, similarly
to certain HP printers) - it's those little rolls that
don't have the grip they need.
If someone wants to fiddle with it, they're welcome to
pick the printer up. I'll certainly be present at the
general assembly, if someone's interested I can bring
the printer. Otherwise, it'll go to scrap.
Regards,
Eric
P.S. Is anyone aware of any plans to build up a computer
museum in the region, resp. if such a thing exists? If so,
I might have some interesting donations to make...
