OK, this is WAY offtopic, but anyway:
May I make a point that pirates were bloodthirsty murderers and criminals
fighting against a system of ruthless nations of bloodthirsty murdreres and
criminals. Technically the gold and valuables they were stealing had already
been stolen from the people that were originally living on the grounds of the
new colonies.
I personally don't think they were bad people, but I also agree that what they
did hasn't got any relation to the deeds referred to as "computer piracy".
