Just got over 130 Kbytes per second now with a test download. Sweet.
That easely let one forget the port 25 issue some time ago ;-)

130kbps is fat from 1024kbps... very far.
And it wouldn't let me "forget" bad QoS and bad communication policy.

No, it is very close to the theoretical maximum.

Let's calculate:

1 Byte = 8 Bit

Ooops! My mistake... I read "bits" not "bytes"...
Sorry, please accept my apologies.

I used T-Online with T-DSL for 2 years. I had many problems. The

The fact that others may be worse does not change a thing to me.
It's the only reason I stayed with Coditel, but it doesn't mean I have
to be happy or "forget" past behavior.
Please note that to this day I have not received a signle e-mail giving
any notice that they were going to block port 25, did block 25,
acknowledge my issue, offered any hint as to their caring that I had a
problem, offered any hint as to a solution.
And I did send them several e-mails as well as called them on phone.

I'm just lucky someone on THIS list helped me out.
When will LiLux start selling Cable/ADSL connections? :-))

We might consider some partnership with Alternet... Why not ?
I have good contact. If I have green flag from Lilux.lu, I will ask them. Who knows ? We might even just have discount for Lilux members...
