Well there doesn't seem to be very much feedback to my previous mail.
So how did the "journé du libre" turn out?
D.
Also how do you advertise things? I haven't
seen anything up to
now about this.
The problem I see with this is that even if you advertise, these
things don't seem to very much received by the press. We have the
same issue with our camp. If it's not about a local senior's club
then you don't get a lot of press.
Am I looking at the wrong places? Please tell me
where that one
place is to look out for these kind of events.
There are two things I would like to suggest:
1. Create an agenda/hub for IT-related events. Our page could be
such a hub as it already has a fitting infrastructure to add and
manage events:
https://www.hackerspace.lu/wiki/Calendar
Of course I can understand that not everyone would be keen on
announcing their events on hackerspace.lu. But we could create
another site, (itevents.lu?!) and clone the infrastructure.
2. Make use of that hub to get more media attention on such events.
