did I miss the news, or did Debian Sarge go
stable?
c'mon, give it another year or two :-)
:-) Well it *is* supposed to go stable quite soon, last I read
there were speculations of about april (2005).
That (and the age of the Woody packages) is also the reason
why the Server Tutorial of next week's LinuxDays is based on
Sarge, not Woody.
They apparently decided a short while ago to upgrade KDE from
3.2 to 3.3, that upgrade broke my installation on the laptop
the other day :-/ - so many broken dependencies that I gave up
(not really from lack of trying to fix things) and completely
reinstalled (you'll be thankful to have a separate /home
partition in such cases) - not good!
It's been a while that I had an upgrade on Debian go wrong.
Oh well, life goes on ;-)
Greetings, Eric
