Moiƫn,
I have been asked to participate in a "Licencsing" workshop for the
upcoming LinuxDays Lux. I guess it will mostly be about Creative
Commons, GPL, etc, with my main knowledge being about issues around
CC.
oh nice ;)
From a
licensing perspective I find the new Open Document Format most exciting.

Is it possible for someone to give an introduction on the practical
issues of working with Open Document Format, maybe for LinuxDays?
By practical I mean: Status of OOo implementation, (in 1.1.5 & 2.0),
use in other Office suites (M$, others,...), Conversion into other
formats (rtf, pdf, ps, ...)
yes, if it is ocmpatible with the basic tutorial, which normally a hold
during the LinuxDays, i would be glad ;)
I believe the OASIS licensing terms for the Open
Document standard
might be crucial for compliance with coming "Public Information
directive" and assuring Long-term archiving and Long-term retrieval
(without having to buy proprietary software).

I hope to be on top of the subject of Open Document Format Licence as
well as Public Information Directive for LinuxDays, any takers for the
above info on open doc?
